big box little shoes

I would love to know who packaged this-

I got these shoes a couple of weeks ago. I love them. My mom always said if you find something that you know you'll wear to death, better get more than 1 so you don't have to be too careful worrying about wearing out the originals.

Anyways.. 

The light on my wall mounted, kitchen phone was blinking, alerting me I had a package. I went downsairs, signed my slip, and this huge box came out. Before I could think "how am I going to carry this", our frontman at the desk assured me it was half empty. He was right.

 But why the huge box?? It provided some amusement for the evening.
And I have my shoes!
