This had to have been the most barefaced "stink eye" I've ever seen on broadcasted television. The slip-through goal that Robert Green mistakenly let roll across the goal line grabbed the attention of every spectator watching Saturdays game. Those in England probably clamped the sides of their heads and yelled at whatever screen they were watching on.

The point of this blog isn't what Green did, or didn't do (protect the goal), but the look David Beckham gave him. It was pure stink eye. It was worse than anything Juno received in the hallway. They showed the ball roll in, they showed Green, they showed the US's reaction, they showed the replay, and then it happened. THE STINK EYE.

I  hope the guy isn't chastised too much- after all it was a mistake. As one soccer player said, "It'll make him a better goalie".  Aside from that Beckham looked very nice in his 3-piece, charcoal suit, stank eye and all.
